We offer two levels of lawn mowing services – standard or premium, at the following intervals:

Standard lawn mowing service
We will trim and mow your front and back lawns and then blow clean the hardscape of your garden, leaving it looking neat and tidy.

Premium lawn mowing service
Our premium service includes the above, plus lawn edging. Much more than a simple trim, lawn edging gives your section an exceptionally manicured, luxury appearance.

To catch or mulch?
Using our commercial mulch mowers, we can remove the need for removing clippings – making cost-savings for you. If you prefer your lawn caught, we can either leave the clippings in your green bin or remove them for an additional cost.

How Green Genie’s lawn mowing Tawa service works
Request a free quote
You can call us during business hours, to get a quote within 1-hour!
Alternatively, use our online ‘Get a quote’ form. We aim to send you a quote within 1 working hour, or the next day if your request is outside business hours.
The quote we provide is for a one-off/first mow. Once we’ve visited your property to do the first mow, we will confirm the cost for a recurring service.
Usually, the recurring service is the same price or less as the first mow. However, if your property has things like a slope, an obstacle or is terraced, it may require a re-quote.
Scheduling preferences
Once you’ve accepted the quote, we can mow your lawn the same week (for a once-off service), or agree your preferred start date for your regular service.
We’ll schedule your ongoing regular service day automagically, from the date of the first mow. Your service will normally be on the same day each week or fortnight, but time of day may vary if there is rain or bad weather.
We can’t accommodate specific time or day preferences — mowing is weather-dependent and we try to service nearby homes on the same day so that we can get to your lawn as quick as possible. Our rain days are Saturday and Sunday if we can’t get to your lawn during the week. Typical service hours are between 8am – 5pm. You will receive a notification when we have scheduled your mow.
Payment
Payment is made via online banking. You will be invoiced automatically after each visit. There’s no contract, and you can cancel at any time. If there’s bad weather all week and we can’t do your lawn, don’t worry, you won’t be charged for it. We only expect payment once a lawn has been mowed.
